Numbers Puzzles

Venn Puzzle

Your task here is to insert the correct values into the diagram.

A little like a Venn diagram, the values in the intersecting sectors have a relationship with the other intersecting circles. Also the intersecting sectors themselves have a relationship with each other.

Work out the values of the blank sectors so that the diagram makes sense.

Figure It

I would imagine that this puzzle needs no explanations. Needless to say that all the digits fit the grid precisely – it’s up to you to figure out how.

Figure It Puzzle Grid

Fillomino

Fill the grid provided.

To complete this puzzle, you must place numbers in the blank squares so that the puzzle is divided into zones with the area of each zone equal to the number contained within its squares. For more information, if you need it, go to the Puzzle Info pages.

Link Up

Use the digits 1 to 12 to populate the grid below according to the rules given.

You have the numbers 1 to 12 to use when filling in the grid provided. Using a green line, you must connect 7 of them only by moving diagonally and they must add up to 39.
The remaining numbers are to be placed in such a way that they can be connected by a red line moving up, down, left or right – they too must add up to 39 and each number can be used only once.

Unlike your green line, should you need to, your red line is allowed to ‘jump’ a number previously connected by your green diagonal lines, and is the only time your lines are allowed to cross.

Add Up

Again, another common puzzle that should need little explanation. Apart from the lowest cells, each cell is the result of adding the two adjacent cells below it. See if you can complete the puzzle.

Operations

Operations puzzle

What is the letter sequence required here to arrange the operations on the left to give a result that equals the value on the right?

All six must be used and only once each.

Sum-It

Fill in the grid using numbers 1 to 34

Place a number into each cell of the grid provided. You have the digits 1 to 34 that you must use, and you cannot use a digit more than once. Also they have to be placed in such a way as to produce the values indicated in the circles and diamonds. The circles show the totals of the diagonal cells adjacent to them and the diamonds show the totals for the cells in that row only.
Fill the grid if you can.
